Quick Green Reads For The Weekend Volume Sixteen.

June 8, 2007

Here comes the weekend! Here is a few things to tide you over for a few days while I am gone…

North London is thinking of making drivers of SUV’s pay twice as much to park as regular cars. Honestly, I don’t have a problem with.

Darryl Hannah tests the ‘water’ in a pit in the oil-producing region of Ecuador’s Amazon jungle…by sticking her hand in the water and pulling it out covered in oil. Lovely.

10% of land birds could be extinct by 2050 due to climate change. That’s ok, right? I mean, that’s less bird crap on your car!

The Sierra Club is asking for a ban on a chemical in household detergents that can make male fish develop female characteristics.

Until next week, see ya! We are headed to a wedding this weekend up north, so be safe and have a good one.
