In reference to my post What Are Parabens And Why Should You Avoid Them, I got a lot of emails asking for good paraben-free products that people can buy for themselves. After looking in our bathroom and online for a little bit, here are some great products that are both paraben-free and not too hard on the wallet:
Avalon Organics Nourishing Conditioner – $7.95 at Avalon Organics, but can be found in a ton of places, sometimes a little cheaper.
Burts Bees Milk And Honey Body Lotion – $9.00 at the Burts Bees Website, but I know my wife gets it for cheaper. Oh, and thanks to the people who commented and emailed when I asked about natural cosmetics, my wife had no idea that Burts Bees had them!
Method Bloq Soap – We normally buy natural glycerin soap, but when a Method product comes out I like to try it. So we tried this soap and it works pretty well and lasts a long time in the shower. $6.00 at the Method site, but we got ours at Target for $3.99.
Tom’s of Maine Deodorant – You can read about it at their site, and I think I paid about $4.00 for it at Wild Oats.
We do have a ton of other natural paraben-free items in our home, so if there is a product you are looking for, let me know and I might be able to recommend something for you!Like this post? If so, please consider subscribing to my full feed RSS. Or, if you would prefer, you can subscribe by Email:
