We have cheaper rates at night up here in Red Feather so I do laundry late at night, then hang it on the line first thing in the morning. Together this, along with your EXCELLENT advice from a previous post, to use power strips for everything in our house, has saved us a ton of money on our electric bill. Thanks Good Human! I love it that they charge you extra for excess kWh. I live in Argentina, and the government actually subsidizes electricity, gas, and water, which I think is TERRIBLE because people have no conscience whatsoever about freely using resources. If people actually had to pay the full unsubsidized bill, I think they'd be a lot more careful. That’s an amazing difference! I love it that they charge you extra for excess kWh.
