How To Remove Yourself From The PennySaver List
Still receiving the PennySaver circular in your mailbox every week? Still taking it straight from the mailbox to the recycling bin? You aren’t alone — millions of people get the PennySaver at their homes and never even look at the thing, instead just grumbling about spam being delivered to them in paper form and tossing it in the paper bin. But did you know it’s a very easy process to get them to stop delivery? I wrote about how to do this back in 2007, but now there is an even easier way to do it. If you get this paper but never want it again (which I imagine is how most people feel), here’s how to stop receiving it for good:
1. Head on over to http://www.pennysaverusa.com/classifieds/usa/index.html
2. From here, you could click on about 4 or 5 different links before you find the Unsubscribe button. If you’re the adventurous type, happy hunting! But if not, I will save you the trouble, just click through right here – http://ecom.pennysaverusa.com/mailinglist/removalform.aspx
3. Fill out your name and information. I used a junk email address because, well, I don’t want them to spam my inbox too. Click “Remove My Address From Mailing List” – Voila, all done!
Pretty painless, right? It takes about 1 minute to remove your name from their list and to stop them from delivering their junk mail to your house. So stop muttering about this junk mail and please do yourself, your mail carrier, your recycling facility, and even some trees a big favor and remove yourself from the PennySaver mailing list today.

Thank you for this. I unsubscribed and made a record of it so I can check in “six to eight weeks,” to see if they really took us off their list. They have a few loopholes. Whom do they, for example, deem head of household? Then there’s the problem of their starting them up again in a year because people in my error move so frequently, or so they say.
It will be interesting to see what happens.
The state option only shows CA.
This is a GREAT service to post! I have done this a few times before it worked. I finally seemed to get off their list but then it started reappearing. After talking with PennySaver (no small feat there) I found out that my mail carrier was just taking anyone’s Pennysaver and putting in the first mail boxes on his route to get rid of them. I went to the local post office and made friends with the people there and let them know what was happening. I haven’t seen it since.
I didn’t even realize I could unsubscribe from Pennysaver. I just did so and am posting this article on Twitter. Newspaper is sometimes useful, but Pennysaver is too small to be functional, and of no interest to me as reading material, so I’ll be glad to see it stop.

One note: according to the unsubscribe confirmation, you’ll need to do this again in a year due to the “high mobility rate in California and Florida.”

I have tried to do this using both Firefox and Internet Explorer. I never get a confirmation. I have been at this address nearly 2 years and now suddenly I am getting this junk mail twice a week.
Calling is a waste of time. If you get a live person they try to hard sell you an ad and there is no way to leave a message is you call after hours.
I wish someone (DMA I am looking at you) actually enforced unwanted mail rules and regulations.
What mailbox? The thing shows up in my driveway, on my lawn, my walkway….everywhere but my mailbox. I dread the thing showing up. We do not use it, never asked for it and am tired of having to clean it up after the “mystery SUV” tosses it our in the wee hours of the morning.
By the way, i tried the links but the pages are “under construction” and i was not able to unsubscribe.
One more question. Why do we have to unsubscribe from something that we never subscribed to in the first place?
