Of course, some of us do care a heck of a lot and do the best that we can, but is greed and apathy overshadowing all that we do? I'm sure part of the problem is ignorance -- we often don't see the impact of our actions or, say, associate buying a chocolate bar with rainforest destruction -- but even when we do have the knowledge, we often continue to make poor choices for reasons of convenience, culture, or apathy. Or we simply deny the knowledge. The photos are a troubling reminder of how much we have to answer for. I also wonder why we’re doing this to ourselves.
