Aspiring environmentalists have an array of degree programs to choose from. Some interesting programs are available at schools across the nation, while others are currently only provided by a few scattered schools. Let’s take a look at some of the programs out there.

It’s no secret that I am a big fan of outdoor preschools, and couldn’t be more excited about them taking root (ha – get it!) here in the United States.
Coal-fired power plants sicken and kill tens of thousands of Americans every year, especially those (generally low-income, often minority) Americans who have the misfortune of living near them. So why would any community allow a coal plant to be built in its midst?
Who cares if you eat meat or don’t? Let’s join together and become more conscious of what we are eating and stand-up against factory farming. As someone who eats a predominantly plant based diet, I’m often told that I’m not a “true vegan” because I consume honey. Who really gives a shit? I don’t want to be a “true vegan.” I just want to be me. Food is just one small aspect of me and who I am.
