Solforce has announced the completed installation of a 27.6-kilowatt SunPower solar power system at the Ventura campus headquarters of Patagonia, the outdoor apparel and gear company.

We often overlook one of the biggest opportunities for going green, and that lies within our very own garage. The garage, sadly, often gets forgotten altogether. We store stuff in it, park the car in it, and then generally forget all about its existence.

The Massachusetts Department of Environmental Protection’s MASSCLEANDIESEL: Clean Air for Kids program announced that it has recently retrofitted 302 additional school buses with diesel pollution controls in 67 communities in the state.

We may not need to debate the environmental impact of the Keystone XL pipeline: gas use is declining in the US, and we may simply not need all of that oil from Alberta.

Continuing their largely symbolic attacks on the Environmental Protection Agency’s rulemaking authority, House Republicans pushed through a bill on Thursday to block the agency’s proposed effort to reduce airborne emissions of dangerous chemicals from cement manufacturing plants.
