A 3-Minute Journey Through The Last 250 Years Of Our Climate History

May 7, 2012

Welcome to the Anthropocene is a 3-minute journey through how one species (clue: it’s us) has change the planet. It takes place through the last 250 years of our history, from the start of the Industrial Revolution to the Rio+20 Summit.

The film charts the growth of humanity into a global force on an equivalent scale to major geological processes and helps to better understand humanity’s geographic imprint.

Check out the video:

The film was commissioned by the Planet Under Pressure conference, a major international conference focusing on global climate solutions.
