Time again for your green news…

Growing food in schools looks set to become part of the curriculum starting from September 2014, furthering the positive impacts of those very successful initiatives already working to promote gardening and ‘grow your own’ schemes in schools nationwide.

An entire industry wants a free pass to pollute by evading the protections of the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA). What industry could that be, you ask? Fracking, of course.

The Energy Department has announced more than $45 million for thirty-eight new projects that accelerate the research and development of vehicle technologies to improve fuel efficiency, lower transportation costs and protect the environment in communities nationwide. Of course, they could just ask Elon Musk how he does it, and save themselves a ton of money.

We need more professional committed to the environment, as long as they avoid becoming a greenwasher like so many of them fall in to at their corporate job.
