I mean, I know that climate change is a hoax and all, and carbon dioxide emissions from our power plants couldn’t possibly be doing any damage, but it’s still pretty cool that NASA has a CO2-hunting satellite in orbit. Don’t you think?
Obviously I believe in climate change and I think denying scientific fact just makes one look like a complete idiot. If this is a vast liberal conspiracy to enrich solar panel makers, it is the most brilliant money-making scheme ever devised and played out against every human on Earth. According to Faux News liberals are kinda dumb, so it’s amazing they can convince 99.9% of the world’s scientists to say we are causing climate change and we’re, well, doomed.
Which is it, Faux? Are we kinda dumb or are we brilliant?
I get lost in all the nonsense on that channel, and it’s quite obvious they don’t even know their head from their …hole. Anyways…
Today, at Vandenberg Air Force Base outside of Los Angeles, NASA launched a Delta 2 rocket carrying a new satellite designed to track how CO2 moves in and out of our atmosphere. The first time they tried to launch this satellite it crashed on launch, but this one was a success.
“This makes it of critical importance to the scientists who are trying to understand the impact of humans on global change,” said Betsy Edwards, a program executive at NASA.
The satellite will be in orbit 438 miles above Earth, making one trip around our home rock every 16 days.
Maybe, just maybe, they’ll find most of the CO2 is coming out of Rush Limbaugh’s head, which in that case would then allow deniers to see climate change is, in fact, man-made. Oh the humanity. That would be totally worth the $468 million mission cost.
