Good Human Tip Of The Week – Save Some Paper & Stop Printing Receipts.

Since most people do a ton of shopping online, you probably know that as soon as you complete your order you are confronted with a page that says “Please print this page for your records”. Do you do print them? If you do, there is an alternative that saves both paper and ink while stopping clutter from laying around your house.

When that “records” internet page comes up, go ahead and hit the print button as usual. But instead of printing, find the option that says “Save as a .PDF file” within your print menu. Your computer will ask you where you want to save it, and what I have done is make a folder called “Receipts” where I keep all of my online receipts. No more wasted paper or ink for us!

  1. I’ve been doing this for a while and for me the other benefit is that I always know where to look for my receipts.
