By now, you’ve probably heard of the slow movement. There are many offshoots, from the slow food movement to the slow reading movement. The general idea is to take more time, be thoughtful about the product or process, savor things slowly, and make them last. It is in this spirit that I propose the Slow Clothing Movement.

With the recent earthquakes we’ve been experiencing and hearing about in the news, I thought it would be a good opportunity to touch on whether or not global warming, or climate change, could be contributing to the seemingly increased quake activity and how we can be prepared in case of an earthquake.

When starting your garden you want to make sure that you are doing everything right because you are scared of failing. So avoid these mistakes when beginning.

Clean energy technology has grown robustly and come down in price in recent years, driven by hefty government stimulus spending, expectations of future regulation and substantial private investment. But that technology is going to fall off a cliff unless government steps in quickly to revitalize the industries.

Manila is one of the world’s five dirtiest cities, but graffiti? That’s not a problem. It’s not that people don’t paint on the walls in the hyper-polluted Philippines capital, because they do. But they do it with a paint that actually eats smog out of the air.

Gardening in containers is the perfect option if you have limited space. A container will fit anywhere! They are portable and easy to maintain, and by using different plants, your yard can look different every year.
