I quit my job because of G.W. Bush.

Ok, not EXACTLY….but for 6 years now I have been watching GW do absolutely nothing, but still hold on to his job. In fact, he has done some terrible things…and he still kept his job. So I have decided to quit my job as of today to see how long I can keep my “nonworking” status going like GW.

Alright you got me. I didnt quit because of GW, I quit because I need something more than what I was currently doing. I need more involvement, I need more challenge, I need something more interesting. SO, today is my last day at my job I have had for over 4 years. It was a difficult decision, and one I did not take lightly. But it had to happen.

The next few days or so might be low posting days until I get started doing some stuff next week…looking for work, working on side projects, etc etc. So please accept my apologies if anyone is actually reading this site and bear with me…I will be back!

  1. Good luck…If I recall, the eco-entrepreneur did something similar within the last month or two and he’s on his feet as well.

  2. Hi,

I quit my job 5 days ago. I worked for 10 years in the airline industry only to have them file bankruptsey and cut my wages in half AND make me pay more for health insurance. I guess I can blame W. too because of 9/11 and the high cost of oil.

  3. Thanks everyone, I am going to need it! Hopefully between a few part time things I can make it work without having to go back and work for the man….
