My, my, my, how time flies. We are already in May and headed toward summer. This weekend it is supposed to be beautiful outside, so I hope to take advantage by going to the beach. That is, if I can get the remodeling of my office done as well! While I am busy either sitting at the beach or painting some walls, be sure to check out the following stories that caught my eye over the last week.

The Sietch talks about Indonesia’s new reign as the number one rain forest destroyer. They are even going to make it into the Guinness Book of World Records for this feat, which is not something anyone should actually WANT to win for.

The Times Online has an interesting story about earthships, the mother of all eco-friendliness. Even though we were just recently in New Mexico and fell in love with the place while seeing a ton of them, I just am not sure about living mostly underground. A very good read though.

No Impact Man talks about how much his expenses have gone down while trying out his “No Impact” experiment. Although it would be a bit much for most people to accomplish, there is a lot to be learned here. Check it out.

My favorite computer maker, Apple, has seen the light and plans on becoming the greenest computer manufacturer. We will see about that, but it’s a step in the right direction.

Have a great weekend everyone!
